Hi, My mother-in-law is 77 and has just been diagnosed with thyroid problems. It sounds to me as if the thyroid is underactive as she has experienced weight gain, feeling cold and tired. She has been put on a course of tablets and has to see the doctor again in 6 months. As with most tablets, these have side effects so maybe a more natural remedy would benefit her. Would this be suitable for a lady of 77 who is active generally and not in bad health.
